Critique day print 5/5. The loner. Check out the other 4 critique day prints I posted today. They suck just as hard as this one ✌️
Critique day print 4/5. Sad clown.
Critique day print 3/5. The ape 🦍.
Critique day print 2/5. Northampton crosswalks.
Critique day 1/5. Took this in Amherst and it is creepy + dope. Gelatin silver print, taken on my Olympus xa with tri x pushed to 800
Rocky pool landscape at the Westfield river. Hadn’t been to this part in a while and I was surprised that I didn’t notice this spot before, but it looks great in black and white. Gelatin silver print from a photo taken with my Nikon f3 and 35mm f2 ais lens on tri-x 400
Critique tomorrow. Since I started shooting all film I haven’t done as much landscape stuff because I had no way of making faithful scans or prints, but because i can use descent enlargers now, I have been doing more. Two more out of the 5 im going to show tomorrow. These are just pictures of the prints, not scans, but trust me they actually look pretty good irl.
Its critique week in my darkroom class so I figured I’d share some of the prints I made for it. This was taken with my f3 on a misty morning with the sun peaking through clouds behind me. If anyone can explain the halos around the rocks I. The foreground please do. They don’t appear on the negative and I didn’t do any dodging so I’m honestly at a loss
Really stoked for this. Since I was having so much trouble finding an infinity stylus that works, I started looking into the xa series, and found this clean oly xa for under a hundred bucks on eBay. Seems to work perfectly! New light seals, and it’s ready to go.
What’s up. Haven’t posted in a minute and that’s because I’ve rediscovered printing in the darkroom, so I haven’t scanned or developed much at home in the last month or so. Because of this analog b&w photography class I’m taking I’ve been spending most of my free time in the darkroom making these expensive ass prints
Looking for a new everyday escape cus my normal spot is always closed. I feel the start of a project coming on tho, this picture is giving me ideas.
